Enough with the “at the end of the day” b.s.

Am I alone here?  Is anyone else sick of  this cliche?  For that matter why don’t you send me other cliches that you feel are overused and tired.

From now on, what I’m going to do is ask after someone says “it” … do you mean 11:59pm?…when the sun sets or perhaps at the close of business…say at 5:05pm?  You do know that I’m a real arse hole don’t you.

Back in December of last year I wrote about “words” especially the Irish use of words.  Some of my favorite are eegit, f*cking eegit, brilliant, and f*cking brilliant.  Don’t know why I just put * instead of u, cuz when something is bleeped out on American television you know what they just said so why bleep it out.  Same thing with * vs u in print…In Irish television and print… fuck is fuck with no bleeping or **** so…

It is spring time in Ireland and summer is just around the corner.

M. Southworth's " girl in boots"

… and every year I either read or show anyone that I think has a sense of humor the following letter.  It is from “Hot Press” an Irish magazine devoted to music and new artists.  It reads:  Letter of the Fortnight (ya know it’s Irish cuz no American uses the word fortnight)…

Here Comes the Summer

I am writing to complain about the weather.  No wonder we Irish are all half fucking mad.  The fucking weather keeps on fucking changing all the fucking time.

As I write, it’s slightly fucking drizzly and very fucking overcast.  Only ten fucking minutes ago it was fucking sunny!   I suppose in another ten fucking minutes it’ll be fucking torrential fucking monsoon-type fucking rain.

Followed shortly thereafter by fucking Hurricane fucking Biddy (or fucking something) and a fucking asteroid shower!!  For fuck’s sake, fuck this truly fucking Gawdawful bastardin’ fucking shit!!!

In conclusion.  WWAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!!!!!

Well Ted… is there a stronger letter to follow?

The weather in Ireland is a bit dicey no matter what time of year it is and the language is even more dicey.  I may complain about the country and Irish people now and then…but it/they are brilliant …it/they are…fucking brilliant!!!!

Abbeydown spring

…Sweat Equity…think outside the box…mission critical…get your arms around it…you own it…drink the kool-aid …as if…my bad….cutting edge…six sigma…multi task…a win – win situation…core competencies…and AT THE END OF THE DAY…

…just cut the bull shit and speak English…

…and let your imagination carry you through the day … well at least to 11:59pm…

Have a wonderful spring….
