I don’t believe anyone is staying on the beach tonight … this is good … I think. The music has just changed to Chicago blues. I am writing this in long hand because I have not found a way to operate my computer efficiently down here yet. Can you remember the last time you wrote anything in long hand?
I just lit a cigar and poured a glass of Jameson … I am alone and the smoke won’t bother anyone and there is a bit of a chill in the air so…
The beach birds have not begun to sing but it is getting lighter. There is no wind and the bay is like glass.
The radio station I am listening to is WUMD UMASS-Dartmouth…no commercials … blues and “just a touch” before sunrise is the makings of a great day at the beach.
The whiskey has done its job or maybe it is the warmth of the sunrise. I think the later.
