Jules Winnfield (Samuel Jackson Pulp Fiction) Oh, I’m sorry! Did I break your concentration?
Cain, Law and Paterno have been in the news frequently …while Pulp Fiction seems to be on cable every other week…the movie is in my top 10.
Cain is having problems with women, Law had a birthday party and Paterno said “I did what I was supposed to with the one charge brought to my attention”
Two of these guys have had a bad couple of weeks, the other, well, he just doesn’t give a shit…after all he is Bernard Francis Law (born November 4, 1931) and as an American Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, the Archbishop emeritus of Boston, member of the Roman Curia, arch priest of the Basilica di Santa maria Maggiore, and titular Cardinal Priest of Santa Susanna, the American Catholic Church in Rome…and is above it all…
…while Boston-area victims of the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal are furious over his eightieth birthday bash being held in Italy.
Can’t you picture Samuel L. Jackson, at the birthday party, holding a gun to Law’s head and saying…

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.”
…and then pulling….
… the football world is more than disappointed at the cowardly position Penn State’s head coach Joe Paterno has taken on the case involving former longtime assistant Jerry Sandusky, who is facing charges of felony sex abuse involving children.
…but Joe cleared himself by saying “I did what I was supposed to with the one charge brought to my attention”
Time to go Joe…
…and I liked this guy…
Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington on Monday, Herman Cain continued to defend himself against claims that he sexually harassed two employees while leading a trade association in the 1990s, telling the audience that he’s the victim of a “witch hunt.”
The count is now four and the latest just held a press conference and she sounded quite convincing.
Time to pack it in Herman…and is this the best the Republican Party can do?
If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions. Jules Winnfield
